Casual Desert Dining Room Design

A mix of cozy earth tones, organic materials and rustic accents all come together to create this laid-back dining space. Get the California desert-chic look by layering up on natural textures - these woven West Elm pendants and Poly & Bark chairs are great casual options for leaning into the look! Always a fan of a layered rug situation, I love this tassel trim jute rug beneath this distressed-look clay option. An extendable rustic wood dining table is perfect for keeping the space informal while still being practical for entertaining when needed! A cowhide stool and other rustic accessories really pull the design together. I’m obsessed with this onyx bowl from CB2 - it’s so cute and such a great price for the size!

Neutral Kitchen Design with Pops of Terra Cotta
Neutral Kitchen Design with Pops of Terra Cotta

As much as I love committing to color, you just can’t go wrong with a bright white kitchen! This white washed wooden serving bowl from CB2 is just too cute! It perfectly complements this Crate&Barrel cutting board, both bringing light wooden elements into the space. I’m still all aboard the boucle trend train, and these white and cane dining chairs are no exception! I love how the fabric brings an extra element of texture into any design. With such a neutral base, it’s easy to add accessories with pops of color that can be switched up with the seasons or your mood. I’ve chosen these rust napkins and this terra cotta fruit bowl to bring in some warmth as the summer winds down!

Feeling bright and casual with this contemporary beach bungalow bedroom design! How cool is the texture on this West Elm two tone dresser? I love how it flows with the white contemporary bed and the funky side tables! All of the furniture has a feel that’s modern, but still very relaxed. I’m also loving this poolside photography print from Lulu and Georgia — it sets the tone for that laid-back boutique resort feel. Our decor picks up on the colors from the print, with this deep orange blanket and dark accents carried throughout the space. This Ballard Designs Atoll Mirror might be my new decor must-have! With the shape inspired by a piece of sun-bleached coral, it’s hard to get more mod and organic than that!

Laundry Room Design with Vintage Charm
Laundry Room Design with Vintage Charm

Storage and style go hand in hand in this laundry room design! I love how the pull-out laundry basket doubles as a workspace, perfect for the folding needs of any busy family! A utility sink is a must-have for more challenging messes. This farmhouse-look sink is too cute! Even small laundry rooms can get an extra dose of personality with accessories like a vintage-style rug or black and white print. I always love a surprising color for an appliance - amber soap dispensers pop against the sapphire-blue GE washing machine. Wood toned and black accented shelving, storage boxes and trays round out this laundry design and bring extra storage into the space.
