PACKAGE SELECTION: The Complete One Room Package

We loved creating this sweet baby boy's nursery for our client who is a busy expecting mama! This is a small room but we managed to fit in all the necessities that this mom wanted AND a few extras. Besides a crib and comfortable rocking chair, we knew she needed a few wall mounted shelves, a large toy box, and ample dresser space. She also wanted a window covering for privacy and day-time naps.

The room already had gorgeous dark walnut floors and we knew we wanted to stay with a masculine and neutral color scheme. We started with the Enzi Rug from Crate & Barrel which has an overall neutral feel but still has a lot of colors to pull from. We also loved the Ever Simple Black Convertible Crib from Crate & BarrelThe tan vegan leather rocking chair from The Tot is so stylish but adds to the masculine feel. We also changed out an old light fixture for a beautiful woven pendant which is a statement piece in itself!
Our client loved the idea of an accent wall as much as we did, so we recommended the Wildlife Animal Wallpaper in grey. On the adjacent wall we put a traditional grey and cream striped roman shade over the window. We will be recommending an outside mount for the shade and install it several inches above the window so that maximum light can enter when the shade is raised.

Our client wanted to add some whimsy to the room so in addition to the wallpaper we recommended this fun Drifting Clouds Mobile and the adorable Bubble Gum Bear art. We also added a cozy sheepskin rug for texture and softness.

Three hanging wall shelves opposite from the crib will hold special toys and books. Our client loves natural wood toys which are so much fun to display and we made sure to include that on the vision board for this project. We can't wait to see our client bring this design to life over the next few weeks! Follow us over on Instagram @mendezmanor for regular updates on client projects.

We had SO MUCH FUN creating this neutral but cozy family living room design! We decided to keep the color palette neutral but not boring, using various shades of cream, gray, and brown, with little pops of black and white. We layered lots of texture and brought in some plants to bring the space to life. Overall the goal was to give this room a design concept that is modern AND timeless. We created a cozy and relaxed feel that our clients can enjoy for years so to come!
