I’m super excited to introduce this new collection of original watercolor greeting cards by Autumn Irick! Up until now my shop has consisted of all vintage and second hand items, but since the beginning, I’ve wanted to explore collaborating with local artists and makers.
About a month ago I reached out to my Instagram friend, Autumn. Autumn is a fellow vintage seller and multifaceted artist based in San Juan Capistrano, California. I’m always impressed by what she posts on her Instagram feed and we have collaborated on a few giveaways in the past.
I asked her if she’d be interested in creating a collection of greeting cards for my shop and she was on board right away. I sent her a couple inspiration photos that I loved, and she has hand painted a 20 card collection based on the images I showed her. I’m calling it the “Cactus Collection” and IT IS LOVELY!!!!
There are no prints in this collection. Each 4 x 6 card is a unique work of art, signed by Autumn. She uses ink and watercolor to hand paint each one. They are pretty enough to be framed!
