This new online interior design feature showcases the plan for a “California Casual” master bedroom for our client who lives in Orange County, California. On the walls we are using Sherwin Williams/Dover White (SW6385) which blends perfectly with the Zahari Rug from West Elm. The Tilly Upholstered Bed from Joss & Main comes in all the sizes and more than 20 fabric options. I definitely recommend checking it out if you are shopping for a new bed!
The Sogno Chaise Lounge from Crate & Barrel is a bit of a splurge BUT I’ve seen it in person and it’s worth it! It’s also available in multiple fabric options. In this design we are using Sabine/Ecru/Linen Weave. A couple of my other favorite piece are the oversized nightstands from Pottery Barn and the round mirror available at Lamps Plus.
For the window coverings I recommended a natural woven roman shade that will have a privacy lining on the back. To soften the look we will add a custom valance over the top of each roman shade. We not not decided 100% what type of window covering (if any) we will put over the french doors. I am leaning towards a simple curtain in a fabric that matches the valances.
