In this part of our Foothill Ranch interior design feature, I want to share the master bedroom retreat. It includes the bedroom area, bathroom, and balcony space. If you missed it, you can catch part 1, where I share the main living spaces here.
The master suite is on the second floor. It has a connected bathroom with double vanity and shower along with a private balcony that has a beautiful view overlooking orange county.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom got the same luxury vinyl plank flooring as the rest of the house and the same wall color. We used the Pikes Peak collection by Christina Collection Flooring for the LVP. It is waterproof, so it can be installed throughout the entire home including bathrooms! On the walls we used Dunn Edwards Swiss Coffee, one of my go-to shades of white paint.

Master Bathroom
The master bathroom is connected to the bedroom. It’s not too big but with the new design it now looks bright and fresh! We used the same classic white cabinets as in the kitchen. We also used matte black finishes for the hardware and lighting.
Master Bedroom Balcony
The master bedroom balcony is a very cozy space. My clients have a gorgeous view overlooking parts of Orange County from this spot and can see up to 5 firework shows depending on which night it is!
On the balcony we used two matching egg chairs from Wayfair and two super sturdy patio umbrellas from Crate & Barrel. My client opted for a little pricier but also more sturdy umbrellas due to the high winds they often get. The exact composite outdoor table we used is no longer available but I’ve linked a couple similar ones above. I also linked a rainproof cover for the egg chair and an option for replacement cushions.
This project was completed using a combination of online design packages and on-site consultations. Through my flat rate online design services I’m able to create an interior design concept for moving forward and then guide my clients through the implementation process. I act as your “designer on call” as you bring your design to life.
