Glad to share this online interior design feature for a NYC lover’s new LA apartment! We have a New York City client who is moving to Los Angeles for work, and needed help decorating her new living room space. We are starting with the Sophie 5 Piece Sectional from Ashley Home Store and pairing it with a Loloi Amber Lewis Collection area rug, which is finally back in stock on Amazon! I have this rug in color: Sunset/Ink and that is the same color we are using for this room. It’s a nice neutral color and works for so many spaces. It’s also a great price for the 8 x 11 size!
The New York City skyline artwork comes in a variety of size and frame options. It can be added to a gallery wall or used as a statement piece, like we are doing here. Even though my client is renting this space, she decided to change out the standard light fixture for this more modern pendant light fixture from West Elm. Changing out lighting is a relatively inexpensive way to make an apartment feel more like your own. And you can always change it back before you leave…if you want to take the new one when you move.
