Fall is my favorite season to decorate for. I like it because it’s long season. I start decorating around mid September and leave everything up until just after Thanksgiving. So, we have almost two full months of fall decor time! Of course after Halloween I put away the Jack-O-Lanterns and skeletons, but pretty much everything else stays until it’s time for Christmas decor to go up.
I found our little outdoor bench at an estate sale and it’s become a bit weathered over time. I can see painting it black to freshen it up in the future. My Jack-O-Lanterns are a combo of metal and ceramic. I like decor that I can keep year after year so lately, I’ve been splurging a little more on items that I know will last.
I found a couple extra tall and narrow planters. They add the perfect amount of height to either side of our double-doors. At Christmas time I will change out the mums for a topiary or small tree. You can shop the items I bought and similar items by clicking the link above. Happy fall!
