Welp! The kids are finally back in school full time. I feel like my shop business has been in survival mode for the past year. A lot of projects I had in the works right before COVID hit came to a screeching halt once school was cancelled, and I became full-time mom again. Now that things are slowly returning to normal, I’m excited to get some of those projects back on track!
One of the projects I’ve been planning is the expansion of my shop to non-vintage items. I’ve been doing a lot of research. Finding wholesale companies, as well as individual makers, that carry beautiful items and who have a commitment to sustainability and fair trade.
I would like to introduce you to the new items that will be arriving from the CTW Home Collection. This is an American family owned business based in North Carolina. They have a variety of vintage inspired home decor items that lean toward farmhouse and bohemian home decor styles.
Some of these items I will stock on a regular basis and some will be available with a limited quantity. Here is a short description of each item. Some are available for pre-order now.
Boho Hanging Wall Shelf
I’m really excited about the Boho Hanging Wall Shelf! I plan to use several of these for display in my shop in downtown Pomona. The others will be available for order online. This shelf is made from reclaimed wood and natural jute rope. I have it listed and available for pre-order now. I ordered a limited quantity of these for now. If they are popular, I will order more.
Wire Locker Room Wall Hook
I’ve had these Wire Locker Room Wall Hooks in the shop before and they sold out. They are super practical with two large hooks that can support a heavy coat or large bath towel. I plan to use several of these around my own house. The rest will be in my online shop and my shop in downtown Pomona. Since these hooks have already proven to be good sellers, I plan to keep them in stock on a regular basis. I also have the hooks available for pre-order.
Farmhouse Throw Pillow
I LOVE throw pillows but find it hard to source them for the shop at a descent price. I have about six of these 18 x 18 blue striped throw pillows coming. I want to see the quality of fabric and fill before I officially put them in the shop. I love that they have a classic look and could easily mix in with different home decor styles including traditional, cottage, farmhouse, and boho.
