Sometimes it’s the little pieces you buy for your home that make the biggest difference in your day-to-day life! My client loves her new workspace and asked me to source a few footstool options for under the desk. These are my six favorite footstools that go with the existing desk and chair she already has.
Things to consider when purchasing a footstool:
- Double check that the height is what you want for comfort. You can do this by sitting in any chair and raising your feet up to the height of the footstool you are considering. Make sure that angle feels comfortable.
- Also double check that height and width of the footstool will fit nicely if you are placing it under a desk or table.
- Consider going with a darker fabric or a fabric that is easy to clean. Especially if you might be using the footstool with shoes on.
- Consider the shape of the top of the footstool. If your footstool is flat on top versus rounded, it can also easily be used as a small side table to set books or a tray.
