This Los Angeles home office design was a lot of fun to work on! Even though LA isn’t too far from me in Chino Hills, I didn’t go on-site for this project at all. It’s being completed entirely using my online interior design process.
Our client started with an empty “pass through room” in her three story town home. I knew she wanted to create a home office that was bold with a touch of glamour. Here you can see the space before and after my design.
We started with Sherwin Williams/Big Dipper (in a flat finish) for the paint color on the walls. In addition to the bold wall color, the desk and the light fixture are the two main design features in the room. I love the Reid desk we are using from Cb2! I actually have this desk at home in the darker finish. The fluted detail on the legs is super on trend right now but the overall design is still very classic and timeless.
The Etienne Glass Chandelier Light from Crate & Barrel is also a beautiful eye catcher! It makes the perfect statement piece in a smaller room. Unfortunately the exact area rug we are using sold out, but I linked some similar ones in this post. I also recommended the Everson Brass Tiered Shelf from Pottery Barn. We are using the 5 shelf option in this design.

We decided to leave the windows uncovered. Privacy isn’t an issue in this space and my client prefers to have a lot of natural light. If she decides to add window coverings down the line, we can always do that later.
